The Deputy Prime Minister said he had met with representatives of major social media platforms operating in Thailand and received their agreement to cooperate. Specifically, measures to be implemented include the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology to detect and block the spread of fake news on platforms, increasing dedicated personnel to verify information, and notifying the Electronic Transactions Development Agency when violations are detected so that appropriate action can be taken.
