Hanoi (VNA) – The organisers of the second award for photo and video clips “Technology with heart” has announced an extension of the submission deadline to July 15, 2025, providing creators additional time to perfect their works while attracting more compelling stories that showcase the role of technology in the country’s journey towards “Vietnamese Creativity – Path to Prosperity”.
Jointly held by the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the Viettel Military Industry - Telecom Group (Viettel), the award is a concrete initiative to carry out the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57 on breakthrough development in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
Since its launch in February, the award has received enthusiastic participation from authors across the nation. Demonstrating creativity, passion, and unique perspectives on technology in daily life, the entries explore themes ranging from technological innovation in production that boosts productivity and competitiveness, to everyday applications of technology that improve the quality of life and promote digital transformation.
This year’s competition features several notable changes, with video submissions up to 90 seconds in length compared to 60 seconds in the previous season, allowing film makers to convey richer stories, and expansion of eligibility to include all Vietnamese citizens both domestically and abroad, except for Viettel employees and staff.
The organising committee places no limit on the number of works each author can submit across categories, including single photos, photo series, and videos, though all entries must be submitted under official names matching the authors’ identification cards. Eligible works must be created between May 1, 2024, and July 15, 2025, and must not have won awards in other competitions.
Entries will be judged in three categories: single photo, photo series, and video. Each category includes one first prize worth 50 million VND (over 1,900 USD); two second prizes, 40 million VND each; three third prizes, 30 million VND each; and five consolation prizes, 10 million VND each. Selected works will also be featured in an exhibition at the awarding ceremony, with their authors receiving 3 million VND in royalty per piece.
The submission process and competition🦩 rules remain unchanged. Detailed information is available at the websi𒐪te //congnghetutraitim.com/./.
