Director of the board Phan Ho said that thepartnership aims to improve experience for visitors to the heritage, while helping the board apply digital technology to the conservationand promotion of its values and popularise it to domestic and foreigntourists.
In the first phase from the beginning of 2022, the detailedVR360 virtual reality website has been built, integrated with virtual voiceoverfeatures, overview introduction, bringing the 3D digital museum mode𝔍l on Bizverse's 3D&nb𒉰sp;World Map.
In the second phase, to be carried out in late 2022and 2023, the website will be upgraded with new features and an exhibitionspace for the museum on Metaverse so that viewers can visit from everywhere, thusenhancing its interactivity and 360 degrees’ rotation.
Over the years, the My Son World Cultural HeritageManagement Board has implemented many projects to promote digitaltransformation to improve the efficiency of conservation activities and promotethe heritage values, including the digitisation of artifacts preserved at thesite and the museum.
The application of information technology in theconservation and promotion of the value o🍬f site has changed the managementprocess, significantly contributing to the attraction of tourists, especiall🌠yforeigners, to the world's cultural heritage, said Ho.
My Son, located in Duy Phu commune, Duy Xuyen district of the central province of Quang Nam, is the most renowned architectural complex of the Cham people in Vietnam. It was built during the late 4th century and the 13th century. The relic was recognised by the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) as a world cultural heritage site on December 1, 1999./.
Experts of Vietnam and the Archaeological Survey of India team have been accelerating the implementation of a project to conserve and repair tower-temples of Group A at the My Son World Cultural Heritage Site in the central province of Quang Nam.
The Treasure Evaluation Council of Quang Nam province and the Management Board of My Son World Cultural Heritage Site on August 10 approved a scientific dossier of My Son A10 pedestal at the heritage site, and agreed to submit the dossier to seek recognition of the pedestal as a national treasure.
A ceremony took place at the My Son World Cultural Heritage Site in the central province of Quang Nam on March 28 to celebrate the 50th founding anniversary of the Vietnam-India diplomatic relations (January 7, 1972 – 2022) and review five years of the two governments’ joint work to renovate the site (2017 – 2021).
Going through ups and downs of history, My Son remains as a relic site with high cultural and artistic values, housing an architectural complex with numerous unique Champa towers and shrines.
The reimagined gallery not only presents artefacts in a more structured and thematic layout, but also incorporates 3D visual storytelling to enhance audience engagement. The addition of film installations offers visitors a more vivid and immersive understanding of the objects on display.
With the unique concept of travelling the country through traditional music, the album takes listeners on a journey across Vietnam’s beautiful landscapes, immersing them in vibrant traditional festivals, retelling heroic tales of the nation’s history, showcasing local specialties, and reflecting the spirit and love of the modern Vietnamese people.
