Vinh Long authorities offer congratulations on Hoahaoism’s 82nd anniversary
Leaders of the Mekong Delta province of Vinh Long on June 25 visited and congratulated the local Hoahaoism representative board on the 82nd founding anniversary of this Buddhist sect, on the 18th day of the fifth lunar month (June 27 this year).

Vinh Long (VNA) – Leaders of the Mekong Deltaprovince of Vinh Long on June 25 visited and congratulated the local Hoahaoismrepresentative board on the 82nd founding anniversary of thisBuddhist sect, on the 18th day of the fifth lunar month (June 27this year).
Congratulating the board andfollowers, Vice President of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front CommitteeTran Thanh Lam provided an overview of the socio-economic development andsecurity - order situation in Vinh Long during the first half of 2021.
He appreciated the followers’ contributions in variousareas, especially in charitable activities and social security such as donatingto the funds for the poor and the COVID-19 fight and organising charitablekitchens.
The official also recommended the representative boardapply anti-COVID-19 measures to the celebrations of the Hoahaoism’s foundinganniversary amid unpredictable developments of the pandemic.
For his part, Tran Van Trang, member of the Hoa HaoBuddhist Sangha’s Cent🌟ral Committee and head of the Vinh Long representative board,thanked provincial leaders for their attention to the Hoahaoism dignitaries andfollowers on the occasion of the religion’s 82nd anniversary./.

At a review conference held on June 21, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh praised the province’s scientific, coordinated, and flexible approach. He noted that the early completion reflects the strong commitment of local authorities, the business community, philanthropists, and residents in improving housing conditions for disadvantaged groups.
The VNA delegation, led by General Director Vu Viet Trang, actively participated in the event, engaging in both professional and diplomatic activities.
