The event, thesixth of its kind so far, is jointly organised by the Ministry ofDefence and Ministry of Industry and Trade on the Vietnamese side andthe Cambodian Ministry of Defence.
More than 150enterprises are showcasing a wide range of products at nearly 300booths, including textile and garment, leather and footwear,agro-forestry-aquatic products, electric-electronic goods, chemicals,construction materials, fertilizers and plant and animal varieties.
Participating businesses have also donated gifts to Cambodian war invalids and a training school of the Cambodian army.
The fair will open through November 18 as part of Vietnam ’s effortto assist its businesses in promoting exports to Cambodia and otherASEAN markets.
Statistics provided by the Trade Counsellor atthe Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia show that bilateral trade betweenVietnam and Cambodia has constantly increased, reaching 3.3 billion USDlast year and 2.6 billion USD in the first nine months of this year.
