Training centre powered by Siemens technologies debuts
The Digital Process Industries Training Centre has made presence in Vietnam to meet increasing education requirements for digital technologies, especially in the context of 4.0 Industry Revolution.

Hanoi (VNA) - The Digital Process Industries Training Centre has made presence in Vietnam to meet increasing educationrequirements for digital technologies, especially in the context of 4.0 IndustryRevolution.
The centre was launched in Hanoi on November 16.
Its establishment is the result of the cooperation between Polyco Group, EastAsia University of Technology and Siemens in a joint effort to equippresent and future Vietnamese engineers with knowledge, skills and latesttechnologies for the digital manufacturing age.
The centre, which is located at Polyco Group’s headquarters in Hanoi, has beenequipped with Siemens automation and digitalisation technologies.
It will enable students and engineers to learn and practice directly throughactual demonstration, which include products from field level to managementlevel applied in industrial production in general and in the food and beverageindustry in particular.
In addition, learners can visualise the five steps in the digitalisation valuechain for process industries, namely product design, process and plant design,engineering and commissioning, operation, and services.
Pham Thai Lai, President and CEO of Siemens Vietnam, said he believes thecentre will remarkably enhance human capacity, not only for Polyco group butalso for the whole food and beverage industry in Vietnam to face challenges inthe present and the future.-VNA
Siemens has received an order from state-run energy company Electricity of Vietnam’s National Load Dispatch Centre to improve performance of the nationwide transmission grid.

The organisers hope the competition will help shape a generation of exceptional engineers who will make significant contributions to Vietnam’s scientific and technological progress in this era of transformation.
