Hanoi (VNA) – The State Treasury disbursed a total of 107.7 billionVND (4.6 million USD) as investments in the first half of 2019, equivalent toonly 29.7 percent of the set target.
In controlling thespending of the State budget, the State Treasury system has activelycoordinated with ministries, sectors, localities and budget users in takingconcerted measures to step up investment disbursement, with the work monitoredclosely within the framework of estimates.
During January-June,State budget collection via treasuries reached 743.4 trillion VND, equal to52.6 percent of yearly estimates.
The State Treasuryalso mobilized 115.8 trillion VND from the sale of Government bonds in theperiod, thus helping meet the demand for budget debt payment.-VNA
