Addressing the event, Deputy Minister of Information and CommunicationsNguyen Minh Hong praised the role played by VINASA and IT enterprisesnationwide for the country’s IT sector’s development.
Sao Khue 2018 received 103 nominations from 80 organisations and enterprisesnationwide, of which 51 software products and 22 IT services were awarded SaoKhue title.
This year’s award gave priority to IT products, solutions andservices related research, application of new technology trends such asartificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Thing (IoT), Big Data, RoboticProcess Automation (RPA), Blockchain, and Virtual Reality (VR), which are hopedto promote digital conversion process in enterprises and organisations.
The Top 10 Sao Khue were also awarded to the most excellentproducts and services from the Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV),FPT Software, ISOFH company, ITSOL company, TIMA Group, Viettel NetworkTechnologies Centre, Vietnam Posts andTelecommunications Group (VNPT), Viettel Telecom and Information Technology Solution Centre, VTCTelecommunications JSC.
VINASA Chairman Truong Gia Binh affirmed the Sao Khue Awards willcontinue to be innovated, aiming to encourage IT firms to make their utmost andpromote innovation, focusing on promoting digital conversion strategy, anddeveloping high-quality services and products, thus serving Vietnam’sdevelopment and the demand in international markets.
Initiated in 2003, the award aims to honour high-quality andeffective IT products and services in domestic market, which also can makeinroads into international markets, contributing to promoting IT applicationand development in Vietnam in recent years.
The organising board has so far honoured over 800 outstanding software and ITproducts and services.-VNA
