Prime Minister visits child patients on Int’l Children Day

Hanoi, (VNA) – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and presented giftsto child patients at the Vietnam National Children's Hospital on May31, on the occasion of the International Children’s Day and the Month of Actionfor Children.
Hetalked to children receiving treatment at the hospital and wished them earlyrecovery from illnesses.
Speaking to officials and medical workers at the hospital, the Governmentleader stressed that after the COVID-19 pandemic is put under control, moreattention should be paid to health care for children.
Heacknowledged the great work of the hospital over more than half a century sinceits foundation, and urged the hospital to develop into a model health careestablishment for children.
PMChinh asked the hospital to join hands with other medical facilities and theHealth Ministry to research intensively into the pandemic’s impacts on children’sphysical and psychological health.
He again stressed the priority that the Government gives to health care andeducation, and appealed to the medical workers at the hospital to give the bestpossible care for the child patients.
Thehospital’s officials reported that the hospital gives medical checks andtreatment to around 1 million children each year./.

At a review conference held on June 21, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh praised the province’s scientific, coordinated, and flexible approach. He noted that the early completion reflects the strong commitment of local authorities, the business community, philanthropists, and residents in improving housing conditions for disadvantaged groups.
The VNA delegation, led by General Director Vu Viet Trang, actively participated in the event, engaging in both professional and diplomatic activities.
