NewDelhi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc arrived at Palammilitary airport in New Delhi on January 24 afternoon, beginning his trip toIndia to attend the ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit.
Awelcome ceremony for the PM was held at the airport with special artperformances staged by Indian artists.
PMPhuc is scheduled to hold talks with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi andvisit the Vietnamese Embassy in India the same day.
Hewill attend a retreat between ASEAN leaders and the Indian PM, the ASEAN-India CommemorativeSummit and a ceremony to issue the ASEAN-Indian commemorative stamp set, andvisit a painting exhibition on ASEAN-India ties on January 25.
Theleader will also hold bilateral meetings with leaders of the participatingcountries and major groups of the world and Asia. -VNA
