PM hails draft socio-economic strategy for 2021-2030
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc hailed the draft socio-economic strategy for 2021-2030 compiled by the sub-committee on socio-economic affairs for the 13th National Party Congress at the sub-committee’s fifth meeting on August 22.

Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc hailed the draftsocio-economic strategy for 2021-2030 compiled by the sub-committee onsocio-economic affairs for thꦓe 13t🍷h National Party Congress at thesub-committee’s fifth meeting on August 22.
He said thedraft has a broad vision and new contents meeting the requirements ofdevelopment in the new situation, adding that the editorial team shouldcontinue to work on harmonizing it with other draft documents.
The PM also required the team to further clarify the driving forces of the economy such as hi-tech agriculture,manufacturing-processing, tourism, information technology, urban developmentand regional linkages in the draft documents.
He reminded that due attentionshould be paid to social issues, the environment, national defence-security,and the people as the centre and subject of development.
PM Phuc said the sub-committee hadcompleted the draft documents on directions for socio-economic development in2021-2025 and the draft socio-economicstrategy for 2021-2030 on time for the working programme of the Politburo andthe Party Central Committee.
Drafts of the fundamentals of reportsand documents were approvedby the Party Central Committee at its 10th session in May. The sub-committeeshould complete the draft reports and documents to submit them to the Politburofor feedback before September 9, and then to the 11th plenum of theParty Central Committee in October. Following revision, the final drafts will bepresented for debate at Party congresses at all levels in 2020.
