Party official, leader of Communist Party of India hold talks

Hanoi (VNA) – Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and head of its Commission for External Relations Le Hoai Trung and General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI) Doraisamy Raja, who is leading a CPI ಞdelegation to visit Vietnam, held talks in Hanoi on August 28.
At the talks, Trung highly valued the friendship and cooperation between the two parties, affirming that CPV always attaches importance to the role and position of the CPI.
Vietnam wishes to further strengthen relations with the CPI as well as with the country and people of India, he said, adding that Vietnam not only considers India a comprehensive strategic partner but also a traditional and close friend.
The host informed the delegation about the situation in Vietnam, its recent socio-economic development achievements and foreign policy, while stressing that the Party and State of Vietnam always attach importance to ties with traditional partners and friends, foreign communist, workers', and left-wing parties.
The two sides discussed measures to strengthen relations between the two parties in the coming time.
For his part, the CPI General Secretary congratulated the CPV on its achievements in socio-economic development and foreign affairs, and underlined that the CPI treasures the good relationship with the CPV, and supports the strengthening of the comprehensive strategic Partnership between Vietnam and India.
He said that the CPI is looking forward to its 100th founding anniversary and making preparations for the 25th Party Congress in 2025, adding that it wishes to learn about the practice and theory of building socialism in Vietnam. He highly appreciated the information and experience shared by the leaders of the CPV, including the implemenation of 40 years of renewal.
During its visit, the CPI delegation visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and worked with leaders of several central agencies, including the Central Theoretical Council, the Party Central Committee's Economic Commission, and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations, to learn about Vietnam’s practical situation, guidelines and policies for socio-economic development and discussed measures to further promote friendship and exchanges between Vietnam and India./.

Describing the exhibition as a large-scaled, content-rich, and unprecedented event with high requirements and limited preparation time, PM Pham Minh Chinh urged all ministries, sectors, and localities to participate with the highest sense of responsibility, ensuring the exhibition is inclusive, objective, truthful, feasible, and impactful.
Vietnam’s attendance reaffirms its consistent foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralisation and diversification, and comprehensive, intensive, extensive and effective international integration.
Cheng stressed that this is third time PM Chinh has attended the meeting and he is among the few senior government officials participating in this year's event, which is considered as a rare and commendable gesture.
The fact that the Vietnamese PM has been invited to attend and speak at this important event for three consecutive years reflects the WEF as well as the international business community's recognition and high regard for Vietnam's position, role, and contributions to global and regional economic growth.

Era after era forms a continuous history of development, ascending steadily from one level to the next.
The resolution on such mechanisms aims to serve as a legal basis for opportunely dealing with difficulties and hindrances caused by legal regulations in important, priority, and urgent areas that require immediate settlement so as to unlock resources, facilitate economic development, and turn legislation into a competitive edge.
PM Pham Minh Chinh instructed chairpersons of the People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to strictly follow the Ministry of Finance's guidelines on handling public finances and budgets, with a focus on preventing wastefulness, misconduct, or corruption.
Knapper reaffirmed the US's commitment to supporting a strong, independent, prosperous and resilient Vietnam, while respecting each other’s territorial integrity, sovereignty, independence and political systems.
