Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong has sent a message of congratulations to Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun on his coronation as the 10th King of the Chakri dynasty.

Hanoi (VNA) – Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong hassent a message of congratulations to Thai King Maha VajiralongkornBodindradebayavarangkun on his coronation as the 10th King of theChakri dynasty.
In his message, the Vietnamese leader expressed his belief that under the reignof the new King, the Thai people will continue to reap further achievements inbuilding a prosperous country.
He wished that the Vietnam-Thailand strategic partnership will be consolidatedand developed for the benefits of the two peoples, and for peace, stability anddevelopment of the ASEAN Community as well as the Asia-Pacific and around theworld.
The coronation of Thailand’s KingMaha Vajiralongkorn – Rama X officially began at the Grand Palace on May 4. Theceremony, which is a mix of Buddhist religious ceremonies and Hindu Brahminrituals, will last until May 6.-VNA
