Hanoi (VNA) – The NationalAssembly (NA) Standing Committee has established two policy monitoring groups.
Of the two groups, one will examine policyimplementation and law enforcement regarding the national target programme onsustainable poverty reduction in mountainous and ethnic-populated areas for2012-2018.
Chairman of the Council for Ethnic AffairsHa Ngoc Chien was appointed head of the group, with his deputies Nguyen ThuyAnh, Chairwoman of the Social Affairs Committee, and Nguyen Lam Thanh, ViceChairman of the Council for Ethnic Affairs.
The second group focuses on policyimplementation and law enforcement in the management and use of State fundsapart from the national budget for 2013-2018.
It will be headed up by Chairman of theFinancial and Budget Committee Nguyen Duc Hai. The two deputy heads of thegroup are Vice Chairman of the Financial and Budget Committee Nguyen Huu Quangand Vice Chairman of the Economic Committee Duong Quoc Anh.
The groups are tasked with implementingtheir monitoring plans and reporting the outcomes to the NA Standing Committeeat its session in August and September 2019.-VNA
The sixth session of the 14th National Assembly will open on October 22 and last through November 20, according to a draft schedule presented at the meeting of the NA Standing Committee on September 11.
