Mozart’s great symphony to be performed in Vietnam
The Symphony No. 41 – one of the most famous works of the world's musical genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, will be performed by artists of the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet, Symphony Orchestra and Opera in a concert in the evening of March 29.

Hanoi (VNA) - The Symphony No.41 – one of the most famous works of the world's musical genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, willbe performed by artists of the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet, Symphony Orchestra and Opera in a concert in theevening of March 29.
The concert will be conducted by MeritoriousArtist Tran Vuong Thach, a talented andexperienced conductor, who is also director of the theatre.
The symphony is is the final composition of a trilogy of symphonies No. 39, 40and 41 composed in the summer of 1788. Itis the longest piece of music Mozart ever composed.
The work – with another name “Jupiter Symphony”, is considered as oneof thebest known symphonies in the music history of human.
Austrian composer Mozart has been widely accepted as not only one of the greatest composers ofthe Classical period, but also one of the greatest in all of Western musichistory. It’s been said that his type of talent is seldom seen.
His music had a natural flow and was irresistible to notlike. Mozart was able to use his mastery and conviction to express sorrow,humor, or joy in his works of music. -VNA
Conductor Le Phi Phi will return to Vietnam from Macedonia to conduct a classic concert entitled “Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich” in Ho Chi Minh City on January 9.
Ballets by Vietnamese and international choreographers will appear on stage at HCM City Opera House on January 19, with the night’s highlight being a new contemporary ballet titled Falling Angels.
Eight teams will join the tournament, divided into two groups. Group A features Vietnam, the Philippines, Sichuan Club (China), and Australia, while Group B consists of Vietnam U21, Korabelka Club (Russia), Taiwan (China), and U21 Thailand.

The event, part of Vietnam’s cultural diplomacy strategy through 2030, was jointly organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela and USM’s Faculty of International Relations. It attracted thousands of students from universities across Venezuela.
For the first time, Vietnamese audiences will have the opportunity to experience the ballet masterpiece "Don Quixote" in its original version by renowned choreographer Marius Petipa.
The contest carried deep meaning as it was the first time the life of Vietnamese women abroad had been highlighted as the central theme, said poet and writer Nguyen Quang Thieu, Chairman of the Vietnam Writers’ Association.
