KualaLumpur (VNA) – A firework exp🐟losion inKedal State of Malaysia has injured at least 25 people attending Thaipusam celebration of the Hindﷺu community.
The incident happened on February 1 evening at an area near SriSubramaniya Swami of Sungai Petani town, Kuala Muda district when more than30,000 Hindus were celebrating the festival. Local authorities have investigated the incident because manyinformation sources showed that fireworks are excluded in the celebrationagenda. However, the police had yet to issue any statement on theincident while the actual number of victims and extent of injuries were notknown.
