Khammoune's leader pays pre-Tet visit to Quang Binh province

On this occasion, Vanxay and Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thang signed aMemorandum of Understanding on cooperation in building an ethnic boarding schoolin Khammoune. It is one of the seven projects funded by the VietnameseGovernment as gifts to Laos. Quang Binh province was assigned to work as the investor ofthe project. Vanxay said in celebration ofthe 60th founding anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties and the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam – Laos Treaty of Amity andCooperation, Khammoune will direct departments and agencies to promptlycomplete the construction of the provincial vocational training school – a gift presented by the Vietnamese President to Laos, and speed up the building of the ethnic boarding school in theprovince. Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee Vu Dai Thang wished that the Party Organisation, administration and people of Khammoune would continue creating favourableconditions for Quang Binh residents and enterprises to live and do business in the province. Both sides expressed their high determinationto develop fraternal ties and help each other tap their own potential for furtherdevelopment./.
High-ranking delegations from the central province of Quang Binh and the Lao province of Khammoune signed a cooperation agreement during their talks at Cha Lo international border gate in Quang Binh on December 17.
A high-level conference between the central border province of Ha Tinh and the Lao provinces of Bolikhamsay and Khammoune took place at Cao Treo international border gate on December 18 to discuss the fight against COVID-19 and economic development.
