At a press briefing on April 8 to introduce the Analytica Vietnam2015, Deputy Director of the Department of Information, Science andTechnology under the Ministry of Science and Technology Le Thi Khanh Vansaid high technology is crucial for controlling the quality of importedand domestic goods to boost exports.
She alsohighlighted the need to import a comprehensive equipment system forlaboratory technology, analysis, biotechnology and diagnostics to ensurehigh accuracy and efficiency.
Analytica Vietnam2015 provides organisations, universities, hospitals, laboratories andbusinesses in the science and technology field with opportunities toaccess advanced technologies, new research studies and internationaldevelopment trends.
The event is also expectedto accelerate the application of international advanced science andtechnology in domestic production and business operations.
The trade fair, part of activities for Vietnam Science and TechnologyDay (May 18) will include participants from 15 countries, includingGermany, France, the UK, Japan and the US.
During the event, a number of workshops and seminars will be conductedto raise awareness and understanding among relevant bodies andindividuals about laboratories meeting international standards andquality accreditation activities in Vietnam.-VNA
