The Mandalika Resort in Lombok of Indonesia’s West Nusa Tenggara province has been ready to host the world-class MotoGP motorcycle event 2022 in March, Indonesian President Joko Widodo has affirmed.

Jakarta (VNA) – The Mandalika Resort in Lombokof Indonesia’s West Nusa Tenggara province has been ready to host the world-class MotoGPmotorcycle event 2022 in March, In♔donesian President Joko Widodo has affirmed.
During his trip to Lombok on January 13 to see the progressin infrastructure construction, Widodo said the Zainuddin Abdul MadjidInternational Airport will welcome millions of tourists who come for the race. The airport has established additional facilities to screen andtest passengers for COVID-19. All facilities serving the race, including roads to thecircuit and nearby hotels and restaurants, have been certified as meeting COVID-19preventive measures. To serve this event, more than 300 homestay facilities havebeen built in Mandalika in an effort to bolster tourism. A trial run will be organised this February./.
