Jakarta (VNA) - Chief Executive of Banking Supervision of Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) Dian Ediana Rae on August 12 said the quality credit for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) will be maintained in the future.
This is shown through the credit risk ratio or loans at risk (LAR) for MSMEs continuing the downward trend, specifically 13.5% in June as compared with the 13.83% in the previous month, and the 16.84% recorded in the same period last year.
Dian held that MSME credit quality will be maintained and even improved with the support from many different parties.
In fact, the credit risk ratio for MSMEs is getting closer to the pre-COVID-19 level, which stood at 12.74% in December 2019. Furthermore, total non-performing loans (NPL) for MSMEs in June 2024 was 4.04%, down from the previous month./.
