The ministry has prepared various transportation modes to serve the homecoming flow with a total of 30,451 buses, 772 ships, 404 aircraft, and 2,550 trains.
The government has also introduced incentives and support policies to facilitate hometown travel, including average airfare reductions of 14% compared to previous rates, up to 20% discounts on road tolls, and free homecoming programmes.
The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has deployed over 164,000 personnel for "Operation Ketupat" to ensure smooth traffic during the celebration. It also established 2,835 security posts to protect 126,736 important locations, including stations, ports, airports, and tourist destinations.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has planned to support citizens during the holiday by offering free health examination at medical stations established at train stations, ports, and airports./.
