Hanoi (VNA) – Chairman of the Hanoi People’sCommittee Nguyen Duc Chung on March 13 ordered a temporary closure of the historicalrelics in both urban and suburban areas, and a halt of the operation of the barsand karaoke parlours as well as music programmes until the end of March.
At a session of the municipal steering committee on thefight against the COVID-19, the official also asked hotels and other accommodationfacilities to provide information on their customers, especially those fromepidemic-hit regions starting from March 1, in an effort to intensify thefight.
He highlighted that in order to contain the spread of thedisease, the city is mobilising the whole political system into the work so asto minimise the number of infection cases, prepare all the material necessitiesand push up the communications work.
