Georgetown (VNA) – Vietnamese Ambassador to Brazil and Guyana PhamThi Kim Hoa recently presented credentials to President of Guyana MohamedIrfaan Ali.
At a reception forthe diplomat, President Mohamed Irfaan Ali said he hopes Vietnam will assist Guyana inagriculture, animal husbandry and cultivation.
Hoa vowed to work to develop the traditional friendship andcooperation between the two Governments and peoples in her position.
On March 21, Hoa paida courtesy call to Guyanese Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce of Guyana Oneidge Walrond whopledged to offer all possible support to Vietnamese firms to access Guyana’smarket and wished to learn from Vietnam’s experience in ecologicaltourism development.
During a workingsession with the Vietnamese diplomat a day later, Guyanese Minister of Foreign Affairsand International Cooperation Hilton Todd promised to support Vietnam atmultilateral forums and facilitate the exchange of all-level delegations in thenear future.
