German, Mozambican officials talk cooperation with Vietnam

Hanoi (VNA) – Germany has regularly exchanged high-ranking delegation visits and dialogues with Vietnam to promote ties, stated Vice President of the German Bundestag Edelgard Bulmahn🧸 on September 6.
Speaking at a recent reception held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany to celebrate Vietnam’s 71st National Day (September 2), Edelgard Bulmahn said that since the two countries established diplomatic ties in 1975, the bilateral relations have been developing vigorously, reflected through the two governments’ lifting of the ties to a strategic partnership level in 2011.
She expressed her hope that during her visit to Vietnam in November, the two sides will discuss potential, opportunities and measures to further intensify the bilateral cooperation.
Earlier on September 5, at an event of the same purpose organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Mozambique, Mozambican Minister of Transport and Communications Carlos Fortes Mesquita spoke of his country’s practical and effective cooperation with Vietnam in the fields of agriculture, education and health.
The Mozambican Government is encouraging Vietnamese State and private enterprises to boost trade and investment with Mozambique, the Minister said.-VNA
