Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam will face Saudi Arabia in thequarterfinals of the ongoing Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U23 Championship in Uzbekistan.
On June 9 evening, Saudi Arabia defeated the UAE 2 - 0 intheir final qualifying match to top Group D. With this result, they willcompete with Vietnam which ranks second in Group C.
Securing a 3 - 0 win over Tajikistan in another game takingplace at the same time, Japan rank second in Group D and will play against defendingchampions the Republic of Korea in the quarterfinals.
The match between Vietnam and Saudi Arabia is set to takeplace at Lokomotiv Stadium of at 9pm (local time, or 11pm Hanoi time) on June 12./.

Participants discussed internal developments within the Nguyen Dynasty during the Franco-Spanish coalition’s campaigns, particularly the tension between pro-war and pro-peace factions, and their impact on the political and military situation at that time.

Nguyen Trong Nha Uyen has made history for Vietnam’s dancesport by clinching a bronze medal in the solo Latin category at the WDSF World Championship 2025 in Germany.
The ambassador noted that among the 300,000 Vietnamese residing in the RoK, around 3,000 are living in Pyeongtaek and contributing actively to the local economy. Ho expressed his hope that the local authorities will continue support the overseas Vietnamese community in the city.

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
