Exhibition on CPV to mark 13th National Party Congress
An exhibition on the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) will be held at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts in Hanoi from January 18-24 to mark the CPV’s 91st founding anniversary (February 3, 1930 - 2021) and welcome the upcoming 13th National Party Congress.
Hanoi (VNA) - An exhibition on the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) will be held at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts in Hanoi from January 18-24 to mark the CPV’s 91st founding anniversary (February 3, 1930 - 2021) and welcome the upcoming 13th National Party Congress.
The “Dang ta that la vi dai!” (Great is our Party!) exhibition aims to highlight the CPV’s leadership during the country’s struggle for independence, “Doi Moi” (renewal) process, and nation building, and the Vietnamese people’s achievements in constructing and safeguarding a socialist Vietnam.
It features multiple sections, including one displaying photos and documents on the CPV’s history.
Another section will exhibit photos on the contributions made by the Vietnam People’s Army and the People’s Public Security in the construction and safeguarding of a socialist Vietnam.
Photos, documents, and other exhibits depicting the trust of Vietnamese youth in the CPV’s leadership and how they have followed President Ho Chi Minh’s words will be showcased.
Some 200 publications will be on display in a section on books and documents on the CPV, telling how the Party led the Vietnamese people to independence and recorded great achievements during “Doi Moi” and the era of international integration, as well as Party building efforts today.
Nearly 60 posters featuring the 13th National Party Congress will also be on display in a separate section.
The exhibition is being co-organised by the Department ♐of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition, the National Library🤪 of Vietnam, the Vietnam Military History Museum, and the Museum of Vietnamese Youth./.
Many photos, documents, and objects featuring National Party Congresses are on display at an exhibition that opened at Hoa Lo Prison in Hanoi on January 8.
A large number of flowering plants and ornamental trees will be added to public spaces around Hanoi as the capital gears up for the 13th National Party Congress, according to Vo Nguyen Phong, Director of the municipal Department of Construction.
The Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper and the Truth National Political Publishing House have recently published the book titled “Tam nhin chien luoc va y chi vuon len cua dan toc” (The strategic vision and the nation's will to rise up) to welcome the upcoming 13th National Party Congress which is scheduled to open on January 25.
Winners of the fifth National Press Awards on Party building, called “Bua Liem Vang” (Golden Hammer & Sickle), were announced at a ceremony in Hanoi on January 13 evening.
The event, organised by the VNUFA, featured nearly 40 presentations from Vietnamese and foreign participants, including those from Russia, France, and Japan.

Participants discussed internal developments within the Nguyen Dynasty during the Franco-Spanish coalition’s campaigns, particularly the tension between pro-war and pro-peace factions, and their impact on the political and military situation at that time.
Vietnam is rewriting the playbook on cultural diplomacy, shifting from traditional government-led initiatives to embracing grassroots participation from citizens, businesses, and social media influencers. Nguyen Trong Nha Uyen has made history for Vietnam’s dancesport by clinching a bronze medal in the solo Latin category at the WDSF World Championship 2025 in Germany.
The ambassador noted that among the 300,000 Vietnamese residing in the RoK, around 3,000 are living in Pyeongtaek and contributing actively to the local economy. Ho expressed his hope that the local authorities will continue support the overseas Vietnamese community in the city.

The Vietnamese team will gather on June 26 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, where they will train until July 14 before departing for Indonesia for the ASEAN U23 Championship 2025, which runs from July 15 to 29. Vietnam will face Laos on July 19 and Cambodia on July 22 in the group stage.
The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
