Exchange event brings Vietnam closer to Indian students
The Vietnamese Embassy in New Delhi, India on October 27 held a meeting with over 100 local high school students and teachers to introduce the nation and people of Vietnam as well as the partnership between the two countries.

New Delhi (VNA) – The Vietnamese Embassy in New Delhi, Indiaon October 27 held a meeting with over 100 local high school students andteachers to introduce the nation and people of Vietnam as well as thepartnership between the two countries.
The event was part of activities to mark the 45th anniversaryof Vietnam-India diplomatic ties and 10 years of bilateral strategicpartnership.
Addressing the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to India Ton Sinh Thanhhighlighted some characteristics of Vietnam such as area, population, cultureas well as the connectivity between the two countries.
He said that there are abundant interesting things of Vietnam and Indiathat Indian students can explore during this exchange programme.
Meanwhile, Cultural Counsellor Vu Thi Anh Phuong briefed participants onthe history, culture and people of Vietnam as well as outstanding attainmentsof the country so far.
The Indian students gave various questions on the political, economicand educational cooperation between the two countries, as well as defencehistory of Vietnam and the East Sea issues.
They also excitedly joined games on exploring Vietnam.
At the event, Ambassador Ton Sinh Thanh also officially introduced awebsite on Vietnam-India friendship at www.vietnamindiafriendship.in,and some Vietnam trip programmes for Indian students.-VNA
Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung hosted a reception in Hanoi on September 28 for Indian ambassador to Vietnam Parvathaneni Harish who said India will continue supporting Hanoi in human resources training.

The programme on sustainable poverty reduction has achieved its annual targets for reducing the poverty rate as assigned by the National Assembly and the Government. It has fulfilled five specific objectives and five five-year goals, and met nine out of 12 indicators related to addressing basic social service shortages.

VietnamPlus e-newspaper of the VNA clinched an A prize in the “Outstanding Press Product” category for its immersive 3D multimedia project, “Epic of Reunification,” a groundbreaking blend of storytelling and technology. The VNA won another A prize for its eye-catching exhibition booth.
Today, the press for foreign service has evolved into a distinct, irreplaceable force, bridging Vietnam with the world and portraying a nation that is stable, peace-loving, and fully integrated into the international community.
At a review conference held on June 21, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh praised the province’s scientific, coordinated, and flexible approach. He noted that the early completion reflects the strong commitment of local authorities, the business community, philanthropists, and residents in improving housing conditions for disadvantaged groups.
The VNA delegation, led by General Director Vu Viet Trang, actively participated in the event, engaging in both professional and diplomatic activities.
