Digitising airport procedures with biometric technology at Noi Bai Airport
Vietjet passengers traveling on domestic flights departing from Terminal 1 at Noi Bai International Airport can now complete check-in, security screening, and boarding procedures using biometric authentication (eKYC) via the VNeID app.
Hanoi (VNA)– Continuing its pioneering efforts in applying advanced technologies to enhance the flying experience, from now on Vietjet passengers traveling on domestic flights departing from Terminal 1 at Noi Bai International Airport can now complete check-in, security screening, and boarding procedures using biometric authentication (eKYC) via the VNeID app.
Accordingly, passengers with a level 2 verified VNeID account can log in to the VNeID application, book Vietjet tickets and perform online check-in & biometric verification (eKYC) to pass through security as well as automatic, safe, paperless boarding gates, experiencing a more modern and convenient flight experience than ever.

The two new routes were inaugurated with a warm welcome from Vietjet’s leadership as well as local people and tourists in Ho Chi Minh City, Nagoya, and Fukuoka.
Vietjet launched two direct flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Con Dao on April 19, with congratulations and welcome from local authorities, residents, and tourists.
