Other targets include creating jobs for32,500 labourers and providing vocational training for 45,300 others.
In order to realise the targets, the departmentplans to develop the labour market information, create jobs and improve jobbazaar quality while disseminating laws among labourers and strengthening Statemanagement of labour relationship.
It will enhance the capability of teachingand managing staff in order to improve training quality.
Efforts will also be made to effectivelyimplement social welfare policies to improve the living conditions of thetargeted groups.
In 2016, the city created jobs for 32,152labourers and provided vocational training for 45,200 people, according NguyenVan An, Deputy Director of the department.
Over 7,900 households were assisted toescape from poverty and over 7.85 trillion VND (349 million USD) was raised forthe city’s social fund./.

At a review conference held on June 21, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh praised the province’s scientific, coordinated, and flexible approach. He noted that the early completion reflects the strong commitment of local authorities, the business community, philanthropists, and residents in improving housing conditions for disadvantaged groups.
The VNA delegation, led by General Director Vu Viet Trang, actively participated in the event, engaging in both professional and diplomatic activities.
