Christmas greetings delivered to Catholic communities
Secretary of the Party Central Committee and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Tran Thanh Man paid a visit and delivered Christmas greetings to the Diocese of Phu Cuong in the southern province of Binh Duong on December 19.

BinhDuong (VNA) – Secretaryof the Party Central Committee and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front(VFF) Central Committee Tran Thanh Man paid a visit and deliveredChristmas greetings to the Diocese of Phu Cuong in the southern province ofBinh Duong on December 19.
On behalf of the Party, State, and VFF, Man conveyed his best wishes toCatholic dignitaries on the occasion, and hailed the significant contributionsmade by the diocese and its followers towards national achievements in economy,culture, society, security, defence, and foreign affairs.
He quoted Pope Francis’ teaching that a Vietnamese Catholic must be a goodcitizen and patriot who sides with the nation to build a country of prosperityand happiness.
Man expressed his hope that the diocese and its Bishop Joseph Nguyen Tan Tuocwill continue supporting patriotic emulation movements and engaging inenvironmental protection activities, thus contributing to the nation’sdevelopment and solidarity.
On the occasion, Man visited and extended Christmas wishes to Vice Chairman andSecretary of the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics Priest JohnBaptist Nguyen Van Rien.
