Bac Ninh (VNA) – Customsand police officials of the northern province of Bac Ninh on April 11 apprehendedKha A Cha from the northern mountainous province of Hoa Binh who illegally transportednine bricks of heroine (about 3.24 kg) to Tu Son town, Bac Ninh province.
With information provided by customsofficers of Quang Ninh province, customs and police forces of Bac Ninh followedKha for several days and arrested him after he caught a taxi from My Dinhstation in Hanoi to Phu Khe commune in Tu Son town.
At the police office, Kha, bornin 1974 and residing in Thong Ang village, Hang Kia commune, Mai Chau district inHoa Binh, confessed that he was hired by a man in Hang Kia to transport the heroinfor 5 million VND per heroine brick.
Kha has been handed over to thePolice Office for Drug Crime Investigation for further investigation.-VNA
