Hanoi (VNA) – All the four Vietnamese students who participated in the2019 International Biology Olympiad in Hungary have brought home one silver andthree bronze medals, the Ministry of Education and Training announced on July21.
Hoang Minh Trung from Lam Son High Schoolfor Gifted Students in the central province of Thanh Hoa won a silver medal,while the bronze medals went to Duong Tung Lam from Phan Boi Chau High Schoolfor Gifted Students in central Nghe An province, Ha Vu Huyen Linh from HanoiUniversity of Science (HUS) High School for Gifted Students, and Hoang ThiHuyen Trang from Hung Vuong High School for Gifted Students in the northernprovince of Phu Tho.
The 2019 International Biology Olympiad washeld in Szeged city from July 14-21 with the participation of students from 74countries and territories.

The eight-member Vietnamese team brought home five gold medals from the 2019 Asia-Pacific Mathematical Olympiad for Primary Schools (APMOPS 2019), ranked only after host Singapore.
All five members of the Vietnam team participating in the 50th International Physics Olympiad which concluded in Tel Aviv, Israel, on July 14, won medals, including three gold medals and two silvers.
