Phu Tho (VNA) – With a persuasive 4–0 victory over Guam in Group E of the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers, Vietnam have officially secured a place in the final round, set to take place in Australia in March 2026.
In the match held on the evening of July 5 at Viet Tri Stadium in the northern province of Phu Tho, Vietnam scored three goals in the first half, by Nguyen Thi Van and Bich Thuy.
In the 72nd minute, following a swift counterattack and a pinpoint cross from Tran Thi Duyen, Pham Hai Yen rose high to head in Vietnam’s fourth goal.
