Total investment is valued at nearly 1.7 trillion VND (75.6 million USD).
The Government asked the Ministry of Transport to complete investment procedures, for the bridges in line with legal regulations and ensure the investment does not exceed the JICA loan.
Meanwhile, the northern province of Nam Dinh has been requested to arrange local budgets to build road connecting Tan Phong Bridge and Highway No. 21B while assuring the construction’s progress.
The programme to replace weak bridges at highways has been implemented in two phases with 144 bridges in phase 1 and 82 bridges scheduled to be constructed in phase 2.-VNA
