Vietnam and Belarus have complementary economic advantages and great potential to promote their trade ties, according to participants at the Belarus - Vietnam Business Forum held in Ho Chi Minh City on September 23.
Belarus not only wants to export its products to Vietnam, but also transfer technologies and establish joint production plants in Vietnam with local firms, a bilateral business forum heard in Ho Chi Minh City December 6.
The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly organised a Vietnam-Belarus Business Forum in Hanoi on December 8 to foster the partnerships.
