Hanoi is striving to achieve an urbanization rate of about 60-62% by 2025 and approximately 65-75% by 2030, with 3-5 urban areas having their brands recognized regionally and internationally.

The current issues of urbanization as well as future challenges in Vietnam are requiring appropriate solutions to help Vietnamese cities to develop sustainably.

Binh Dinh province in the south central coastal region will achieve an urbanization rate of 48.6 percent by 2035 as projected by the province’s construction master plan to 2035, which was made public on April 8.
