As part of his official visit to France, Party General Secretary and State President To Lam met with Nguyen Hai Nam, Chairman of the France-Vietnam Friendship Association (AAFV) in Paris on October 7.
The official visit to France by Party General Secretary and President To Lam and his attendance at the 19th Francophonie Summit demonstrate Vietnam's strong bonds with the Francophone community and affirm that the country attaches importance to bilateral relations with the European country, said French Ambassador to Vietnam Olivier Brochet.
