On the occasion of International Children's Day (June 1), Party General Secretary To Lam visited, and presented gifts to teachers and students of Nguyen Dinh Chieu Secondary School, and Xa Dan Secondary School in Hanoi. These are two schools for students with disabilities in the capital city.
Children with disabilities need to be loved, recognised, expected, and most of all, accompanied. The family is a solid support for them to confidently step out into society, said Party General Secretary To Lam.
The school's Principal Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai highlighted the special significance of the visit, as it took place just one day before the Vietnam Day for Persons with Disabilities (April 18), bringing encouragement to both teachers and students.
A Kanagawa festival from the Japanese prefecture of the same name will take place in Hanoi’s Ly Thai To Square by Hoan Kiem Lake on November 16 and 17.
