NA Chairman extends congratulations to Cambodia’s Senate President
Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue on April 3 sent congratulations to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People's Party and Chairman of the Supreme Privy Council to the King, on his election as President of the Cambodian Senate in the fifth mandate.

Hanoi (VNA) – Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue on April 3 sent congratulations to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People'sParty and Chairmanof the Supreme Privy Council to the King, on his election as Presidentof the Cambodian Senate in the fifth mandate.
Hue expressed his belief that underthe leadership of Hun Sen, theSenate will play an increasingly important role in and significantly contributeto Cambodia’s national construction, and help advance the country’s role andposition in the region and the world at large.
The Vietnamese toplegislator also expressed his hope that Hun Sen himself will make morecontributions to and promote the tradition of solidarity and mutual support betweenthe two countries, and between the Vietnamese NA and the Cambodian Senate in particular,thus making the bilateral legislative ties more comprehensive and effective,while consolidating and enhancing the role of the two legislatures in strengtheningthe Vietnam-Cambodia relations.
The CPP won a sweeping victory in thefifth election for Cambodia’s Senate on February 25.
On April 3, Hun Sen was elected as President of the 5th-tenureSenate./.

The new Quang Tri province will include 78 commune-level units and features key assets such as the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, a long coastline, historical landmarks, three international border gates, deep-water ports, a modern transport network, and two airports.
The rehearsal took place at the National Military Training Centre No. 4, the Vietnam National University - Hanoi, and the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, involving more than 7,400 officers and soldiers.
