Major General Huynh Dac Huong, head of the national liaison board for former Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and military experts helping Laos is leading a delegation on a visit to Laos from September 22-26, at an invitation of the country’s Ministry of National Defence.

General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith met with former Vietnamese volunteer soldiers, experts, alumni in Laos and young representatives from both Vietnam and Laos in Hanoi on September 11.

General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee and President of Laos Bounnhang Vorachith met and talked in Hanoi on December 20 with former Vietnamese volunteer soldiers
