Vietnam’s motorcycle market has shown positive signs after a period of stagnation, expected to heat up in the year-end peak shopping season.

Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) sold 7,274 automobiles in October, down 19 percent over the same period last year, the firm has reported.

Several automakers are considering assembling their best-selling models in Vietnam due to the Government’s policy of zero import tariffs on components and a 50 percent reduction in registration fees.
