Three out of five undersea cables connecting Vietnam with the world encountered problems as of June 15, slowing down the internet speed across the country, according to local internet service providers.

Three international undersea cables out of the primary five connecting Vietnam to the world are suffering issues, which could seriously impact connection speed and reliability.

Repairs to the Asia Africa Europe 1 (AAE-1) undersea cable have been completed, domestic internet service providers said on June 8.
